Senior level accountant (FT)

PKF Rubiks is excited to announce that it is looking to hire two talented and enthusiastic candidates as Senior Level Accountants.

As a Senior Level Accountant, you are responsible for overseeing and managing the junior staff in the Accounting and compliance department with day to day accounting activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining accounting and providing support on the tax and social security compliance. As a Senior Accountant,  you should also be working in collaboration with the Managers  and other fellow team members. You should possess excellent planning and organizational skills. In addition to this, you should be able to efficiently complete all your tasks on time.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and oversee accounting records on a daily basis.

  • Carrying out financial transactions and analysis.

  • Processing accounts payable and receivable.

  • Preparing profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

  • Performing account reconciliations.

  • Reviewing expenses incurred.

  • Maintaining general ledgers.

  • Preparing tax filing and returns.

  • Planning accounting budget.

  • Resolving accounting anomalies

  • Assisting in the preparation of yearly closing statements.

  • Supporting the Payroll Coordinator in payroll administration tasks.

  • Preparing monthly financial statements.

  • Adhering to all the rules and regulations of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor (Licence) in Accounting, or a related field (preferably DSC, DESCAF, DESCOGEF).

  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of financial and accounting principles.

  • Knowledge working with Microsoft Office Tools.

  • Exceptional numerical skills.

  • Good with numbers and calculations.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Ability to work for long hours if needed.

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

  • Good organizational skills.

  • A keen eye for detail.

  • Maintaining a positive attitude.

  • Multitasker.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English is a plus).

  • Ability to solve complex problems.

Senior level Tax and Legal Advisor (FT)


PKF Rubiks is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Legal Advisor to join our Tax & Legal team, which is experiencing significant growth.

Responsibilities

As a part of our team, you will provide legal and tax advisory services to national and international companies, helping them navigate the ever-evolving legal and regulatory landscape.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing tax advisory services in various formats (consultations, reports, etc.);

  • Assisting clients in optimizing and securing their tax liabilities (tax review of corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.);

  • Managing tax compliance, including the preparation, supervision, and review of tax returns, tax audits, and other related documents;

  • Supporting clients during business setup and expansion operations (due diligence, structuring, etc.), as well as tax audits and litigation;

  • Delivering legal advice and analysis on corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property, public procurement law, and more;

  • Managing multiple cases simultaneously and ensuring rigorous follow-ups.

Desired Profile

Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree (LL.M.) in Business Law/Taxation or a dual degree (Business Law + Business School);

  • Certificate of Aptitude for the Legal Profession (CAPA) is a plus;

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills & Required Qualities:

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;

  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary, maintaining a balance between autonomy and teamwork;

  • Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail;

  • Maintaining a positive and proactive attitude in the face of challenges;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English proficiency is an advantage);

  • Ability to solve complex problems and provide strategic legal recommendations;

  • Solid knowledge of general taxation, business law, and general accounting principles.
